We take serious steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
As we advocate for learning and education, we also keep in mind the safety and comfort of our staff and students &their families. Hence, we stringently implement the latest guidance and protocol from the CDC and the WHO on hygiene and cleaning. We also follow the permitted regulations as advised by authorities. With COVID-19, the need for more meticulous and strict health and safety measures heightens. Hence, we modified and improved our normal health and safety protocol to keep our staff and learners safe from the virus and reduce the contagion of the said disease. We adhere to the following:
If any staff or student experiences any COVID-19 related signs and symptoms, they are required to stay home and inform the administration and their healthcare provider immediately. Contact tracing will then be done, following the CDC COVID-19 protocol.
All students and employees will be screened for fever and other COVID-19 symptoms before entering the school premises. No student and employee will be given entry beyond the school’s premises until he/she is cleared from possible COVID-19 infection.
Our facilities, including the playground, shall be regularly cleaned and sanitized to prevent the spread of harmful germs and bacteria. Commonly touched areas and items shall be disinfected, as well, to ensure safety. Each student will undergo a guided physical activity should there be a need for them to use the playground.
All students and staff, including parents, must strictly adhere to at least 6-feet distance from others. Neither the teachers nor parents shall engage with students in an affectionate physical manner, such as hugging, kissing, etc., within the school premises.
All students, parents, and staff are required to wear facial masks. In cases where students need assistance with toileting and other grooming and hygiene and tasks at school, our staff shall assist them with the highest form of sanitary standards.
Every school staff member shall remain at school after the school’s operation to clean, disinfect, and sanitize the entire school. A team of support staff shall ensure the maintenance of the facility in coordination with our educators.
We strive to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy place for children to learn, grow, and develop. And the cooperation of parents in all health and safety protocols established by the school is necessary.
If your child shows any symptoms of illness, whether or not COVID-19 symptoms, DO NOT bring your child to school.
Or if you or any of your family members have shown any signs of illness, whether or not COVID-19 symptoms, and has interacted with the student (your child), neither you nor your child should go to the school.
Any parent or family member experiencing any sign of illness, whether or not COVID-19 symptoms, should practice social distancing and not enter the school’s premises.
As parents, you must be more vigilant and cautious so we can limit the spread of COVID-19. Adhering to these measures are required and vital for all parents and family members.
Upon drop off, before escorting them to their respective classrooms, our designated staff shall take the temperature of each child with a contactless thermometer to ensure that they pass the temperature level required by the CDC, which is no more than 37.5°C. No student will be given entry beyond the school’s premises until he/she is cleared from possible COVID-19 infection.
Only one parent/guardian and a child shall be allowed in our lobby at a time. They are required to follow the indication markers, outside the facility for safe stay and dismissal, too.
